We are currently here! In the middle of the rain forest, we found, after a 2km hike, a little fresh water lake, ready for a big swim.. Small sand beaches aside, facing the other side with the deep dark forest.. The way back we went by 4WD through the forest, being spit out at the other side of the beach, on which we drove back, alongside.
We are currently here! The main launch at rainbow beach faced strong winds today freshing up in the afternoon. You need a small glider or an 18 sqm acro glider or a fast trim speed, or you need to stay on the ground or fly backwards.

We are currently here! Right at the beach there is this 30 meter high same blow close to the beach. We had perfect wind conditions so Birgit soared and enjoyed the scenery overlooking entire rainbow beach and the cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park.
We are currently here! Birgit is getting ready for the job applications that we gonna start by begin of next year. Resume work offer to be done, contacts to be lined up and job offers to be screened. Doesnt sound much but needs a good preparation.
I thought pick and pay would be a brand just recognized in namibia and south africa. But north of brisbane there is this hypermarket under the same brand. And it was huge.

This creek is definately flowing down the hill and mountain to the valley. I dont think that there is anything close to an “Aufi Aufi Creek” in this country, even if it is “Down Under”.
