Here we are in the middle of the sea of houses, how ever, it doesnt look that bad if you are here. Its just 6km to the city (takes us about 15min by scooter), easy access to the hinterland and to the beach. There are other areas of course, but was the best choice, and still is, for us.

This morning i double checked the whether on my ipod touch. Not that I expected it any different to what I saw ….

Da glaubt man, man hat schon einiges erlebt im Leben und dann das. Ein einspurige ungesicherte Strasse irgendwo in Bolivien, 3600 Hoehenmeter auf 64 Kilometer und alles nur bergab. Im letzten Jahr sind dort 25.000 Radfahrer runtergekommen und leider gestern wieder einer toedlich verunglueckt. Der 12te in den letzten 10 Jahren.

Frage mich nur was die Bremsen da alles mitmachen muessen. Meine Scheiben werden von der kleinen Abfahrt nahe unseres Hauses schon richtig heisss. Na ja, schaut selbst.

After I checked Holgers Blog today I saw the picture, Ruth in a sun chair in the middle of the snow, and i said to my self, we can challenge that, so I took Linnea, positioned her in the same way in a chair, put one of our gliders beside her, and there we go….

We are currently here! Currently its raining like hell here in brisbane. Still its very warm, may be like in europe there days, but the water is just coming down. Fortunately we bought the long term setup and we are laughing.

IKEA Australia

We are currently here! High racks, as the sky. IKEA Brisbane, has just opened up recently and build a brand new store, based on all experience in the world. Its like a hugh furniture drive in. You park in a way that doesnt alowe any different parking as well as the walk through the “shop” until you hit this huge storage of stuff. Great to watch and fun tu walk trough especially on a friday, because there is no big crowd.

We are currently here! Birgit is currently gonne, heading for Sri Lanka to participate in Wellness under the “ayurveda” umbrella. Paradise Island the little resort is called. Via Singapore right into Clomobo with a personal pick up. We are expecting her back by end of february. Be well and have fun.

Venomous or non venomous ?

We are currently here! Thats the question. I forgot the name of that species, but it seams to be venomous after all what we learned in the Australia Zoo. In the gift shop we bought the entire collection of DVDs (6) to understand the australian wildlife better then ever as well as a cup for the morning milk for Linnéa after she named all the animals on the cup. With the turtule she was struggeling and close not to win the big price, but by asking another girl in english and getting the right answer, she finally made it. Congrats, Love!
